On the ship with a friend

Minna and her new friend Jonra just reached the harbor.
They walk around and admire all the ships.
Jonra is already excited about which one belongs to Minna.
Or rather, to her friend.

Our ship is this one. Pretty nice, isn't it?

At least it's not a small one.

Yeah! Then let's go inside.

So Minna and Jonra enter the ship together.

Just make it feel like home.

Jonra walks around and inspects the ship.

Oh, you really have it nice here.

Yeah, I like it, too. It's not like a real flat, but it has everything we need.

Yeah, a kitchen, a bed, a couch...
What else would you need?

Minna just nods.

So where's your friend?
Isn't he at home right now?

He's visiting some friends here.
So I guess he will stay there for a little longer.

Then let's just stay here for a while.

Oh, don't you want to show me around now?

Maybe later. I like to be on this ship with you. It's amazing.

Oh..., okay...

Minna would really prefer to go out again, but she doesn't dare to disagree.
Maybe Jonra will really become a good friend to her.

After Jonra looked around for a while, she and Minna just sit down on the couch and talk.

As they are sitting there, Jonra could really imagine joining them on their journey.
This ship might not be huge, but it's comfortable.
Even if she had to stay here for multiple days, she could probably get used to it.

After a while Max finally comes back.
He is surprised as he looks at Jonra.

Who do we have here?
Did you bring such a cutie, Minna?

Hi, Max.
Yeah. She's my friend now.

It feels weird to call her a friend already, but she likes it.

Uhm..., sorry for just coming. Could I stay please?

Of course you can! Just stay as long as you like!

But Jonra is a girl. What did she expect of him?

I wish I had a ship like this myself, so I could visit many different places.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing. That's why I got this ship.

And how long have you been traveling?

Oh, this must be...
I don't know. It must have been years.

When I was younger, Max was a good friend to me as well.
I think, he has been traveling since I know him.
But probably not too much. He still seems very familiar to me.

I didn't have my ship yet when you were younger.
So I didn't go on huge journeys, and stayed for longer.
So my trips sometimes only lasted a few months at that time.
But I'm sure the ship is at least half as old as you.

Oh, so your trips using your ship took longer than just a few months?

Yeah, the last one took me... it might even have been more than a year. Maybe even multiple...

You must have had many adventures.
I'd really like to know more.

Max looks insecurely to Minna.
Usually he doesn't hold back.
But he thinks he shouldn't tell Jonra too much.
Maybe he should leave out the more intimate parts, just as he did when talking about his adventures to Alma.

Oh, there's so much I could talk about.

So maybe in general, what do you like most about your journeys?

Uhm..., it's the girls of course.

Everybody gets silent.
Max wanted to hold back...
Minna also wonders why he had to mention this already.

Then Jonra starts to grin with a broad smile.

Oh, of course!
That sounds... cool, I guess.

As Minna looks at Jonra, it occurs to her that Jonra might be into him.
And now that Jonra knows about his interests, she sees the chance to be his next girl herself.

If she was the girl Max picks out of maybe dozens of girls he knew, she would really be happy.
But maybe Minna is just reading too much of her own feelings into this...

So how long will you stay here?

Probably for a few days.

Nice. In that case, we might get to know each other a little better soon.

Didn't you want to show me around a little?

Sorry, it's getting late. I have to be home in time.
So I really have to go now.

Minna is a little annoyed that she'll already leave, but she's still thankful that Jonra won't break her word.

And so Jonra just leaves the ship for today.
Minna is looking forward to meeting her again the next day.
